How it all began
This is me, Charlotte.
I'm currently 25 years old (born July 12, 2014) on this planet and have been determined about what I want since I was a little girl. My first goal after graduating as a clinical psychologist was to travel around South America and Cuba. I wanted to experience the unknown, the music, the southern culture, the people, and the food and drink, which are all based on the same thing: people who love each other and try to survive, each in their own way.
No one could stand in the way of this dream, so I set off on my own with my backpack, ready for adventure… the trip that shaped my future.
After years of experience in the hospitality industry and managing a chocolate bar and coffee bar in Ghent, the choice was obvious: I'm starting my own business. A risk that I don't yet know how it will turn out, but I can only do my best… Thanks to the support of people who are very dear to me, I have been able to make my 2nd dream come true. With my hospitality experiences at home and abroad, I try to offer you the most pleasant and high-quality experience possible. I hope I can convince you and warmly welcome you to Charlie's.
